Hey, I'm Orlando Aguilar. I was born in a sunny March morning in 1998 with my eyes wide open to the world around me. For the past 8 years I have been immersed in the digital marketing industry. I have had the pleasure to work alongside VP's and Founders helping them with their digital marketing objectives. One particular founder is Sabriya Charles whom at the time, founded a Wellness Retreat Company, offering wellness retreats for Human Resource Departments experiencing employee burn-out rates. I learned a lot about how companies and their employees could use wellness travel to alleviate burn-outs. I helped expand the start-up online presence and ultimately grow a qualified sales pipeline for the business outreach team.
I even got the opportunity to work at a "Direct Response" oriented digital marketing agency called, Money Mouth Marketing. At this company I was apart of the copy-writing department. I learned how to build growth marketing campaigns using frameworks such as the customer value journey, customer avatar, and problem-first brand narratives in copy-writing.
Lastly, I want to mention my time as a Fora Travel Advisor.This is truly where my spark for creating Orlando & Company was ignited. At the moment of joining this award winning host agency, I really wanted to diversify my income inside an exciting and fun career. I wanted to try something new yet still tied back to some of my past experience in the travel industry. I booked my first trip to Charlotte, NC tailored for my own leisure just to experience the booking platform first-hand. If you know anything about Fora is that they offer tons of educational videos to get advisors up and going. So, before booking, I dove into a learning path. Shortly after, I realized two things. Even with how good the platform was, it wasn't directly showing me step-by-step on how to obtain clients and even with obtaining clients, in my prospecting, I was always faced with the challenge of explaining why it was beneficial to book with an advisor then it is to book by themselves like on expedia. That's when I set out to create a business tailoring solutions for travel advisors who want to stay ahead of the curve and stand out from those pesky OTAs.
